A friend asked for a Family portrait on the porch, with a complication. Three of the nine subjects (one is a dog) were not available before Dad had to leave town. I told her we could pull it off, get it done for her. We scheduled the first shoot with 6 of the members and built a plan for where the three remaining members would stand when we shot for the second shoot. Ac couple weeks later the final three members were available. I put the camera in the exact same spot and luckily had similar lighting. I sent Mom the shots from the two different days and she chose the two images to be put together. It was a relatively simple Photoshop strip job
This video is a small excerpt from a talking head video series I shot for Janet Stephenson. I used a two camera set up in the studio with basic lighting. Janet had a detailed exact script prepared and we used the teleprompter for her to read from. She did end up ad libbing from time to time. We shot over two dozen videos in two sessions.
High school football panorama photography, just for fun. I shot at last Friday’s football game at Clarkston High School’s football stadium, some on the sidelines, some in the locker room. I chose to make a hand full of multi image panoramas. I think it gives an interesting perspective and unusual view to scenes.
This is a compilation of interior location promotional videos produced for TGI Direct in Flint, MI. We produced three separate videos, one each for a production printing, collation and packaging machines, I have compiled them here.
Each video highlights one of TGI’s machine lines. One line prints on plastic credit card like material. Another line compiles already printed material and wraps for delivery. The third line compiles printed material, stuffs into envelopes and adds postage, ready to mail. The individual videos will be used for the website online promotion and initially to be used on display at some upcoming trade shows. The sales and production staff came up with a list of key talking points for each machine. TGI is lucky to have an employee with a wonderful speaking voice. We searched for rooms quiet enough to record voice over audio and had to move a few times due to production and meetings. We got all of the voice over done in one morning and most in one take. Each video shows aspects of the machine line that is being talked about in audio. We did a version where the audio is subtitled and a version where it is not. The Interior location promotional videos were shot with all existing production facility light as the building is too large to light with the modest budget we were working on. We did all the editing remotely where my TGI contact=s would make comments on the edit, I would make changes and send them an email sized video for their review. I sent the full resolution big boy video file transferred via Google Drive.
